Argan Oil is extracted from Argania Spinosa, a plant that grows exclusively in the desert areas of Morocco, an arid and inhospitable land. Given the conditions in which it grows and the scarcity of water present, the plant produces fruit every 2 years and the fruit itself is very “dry”, to the point that about 38 kg (3 kg of seeds) are needed to produce just 1 litre of oil! And the pressing is still done entirely by hand by Moroccan women, without any mechanization process. This allows us to understand how precious and concentrated the product thus obtained is. Argan Oil is in fact extremely rich and dry and is able to hydrate and nourish at the same time, thanks to the high content of vitamins A and E, and to make elastic, thanks to the polyphenols it contains.
